我部1001P得1GB RAM，行XP Home，有冇必要加到2GB RAM？
N450 加到2GB RAM行唔行到Windows 7 Ultimate？

I do not see the reason to update to win7 while all existing applications are running happily with winXP.  Under M$ limitation, it has limited all netbook manufacturer not  expand further screen more than 12" because it should already been phased out if there was no netbook two years ago.
For any given application,if it can run happy with winXP of 1G or 2G ram, it is equivalent with win7 of 2G or 4G or more at similar running speed.
If you really need win7, it is better to been run on ION or any hardware with better graphic hardware.

since most linux os run smooth with netbook, it is double that win7 could really replace winxp to compete with low price of linux os.

一定要2GB,會順過1GB~
就算XP又好點都好,真係會順左~
當你上到2GB,WIN7可以用到順~無問題

RAM is never enough.... 2GB must be better... DDR2 RAM's price is on an up trend these days so why not upgrade t sooner???

My P15 is now on Win7 Ultimate. with 2GB RAM is ok la... wouldn't say it is smooth.... anyway I suggest you to upgrade to 2GB law...
