Boot Time: The amount of time the notebook takes to start, from power on to full control of the desktop.
File Transfer Test: Rate at which a 4.97GB folder is copied from one folder on the notebook’s hard drive to another.
Oxelon Encoder: transcode a 114MB video from MPEG-4 to AVI using Oxelon Media Encoder
Warcraft (autodetect): Frame rate in World of Warcraft at autodetected resolution.
Warcraft (Native Res): Average frame rates at laptop's native resolution.
Heat – Bottom: Temperature of back panel.
Heat - G+H Keys: Temperature between the G and H kyes.
Heat – Touchpad: Temperature of Touchpad
Battery Test: Continuous Web surfing over Wi-Fi until the battery is completely drained.
WiFi (15 feet):Throughput of a notebook’s internal Wi-Fi card at 15 feet from the router.
WiFi (50ft): operate notebook at 50 feet from our router (category averages of 19 Mbps)

Asus  U36 係上一使的 model，唔係 Sandy Bridge，所以分數較低是可以理解的。比較難明的是 x220 的 Battery test performance, 雖然同 computer shopper 的 testing approach 好唔同，但奇怪的是 Computer Shopper 的 result 話 X220 同 E220s 的 battery strength 是漸近的，兩者都低過 category average, 但 laptop magazine 就認為 X220 的 Battery strength 大勝 E220s, 甚至是 class leader, 將 R830 和 Dell V131 都比下去，有用緊 X220 (6 cells) 的師兄可否幫手分享下電池續航能力的實況！

睇完呢兩個 site  既報告， E220s 應不會考慮了， X220 如果電池續航係 laptop magazine 講得咁好就要努力搵個最平的實體 retail shop 減小自已的支出了。Second choice 變了 Dell, R830 是 3rd choice 了！

X220 和 Dell 邊度會平 D？ 預先多謝大家的幫忙，感激不盡！

如果正式 benchmark test 計，係 PCMark Vantage 同 3D Mark 06 兩個算係 standard test, 其他幾個 test 都係個 site 自已設計的，所以原則上唔可以正接 compare 既，例如 battery test, computer shopper 係 "play a DVD continuously on a loop until the battery dies or wirelessly streaming video in case no built-in DVD drive is available"，而 laptopmag 就 "Continuous Web surfing over Wi-Fi until the battery is completely drained"，所以數字上唔可以就咁比較，但個同 test 之內的比較次序 (即 A 機的能力大過 B 機) 和個 trend 應該是 comparable 的，但在  X220 的 battery test 上就出現問題了。

如果就咁睇 PCMark Vantage 的分數，兩個 report 既得分係上落 2.5% 左右，所以都算穩定可靠，而 3D Mark 06 既分別就較大，其實兩個 site 都有講過自已既 setup parameter，我無遂樣對，但兩個 site 的 3D Mark 06 用 test score 排名都係 V131 > R830 > X220 > E220s, 所以呢個次序都應該是可信的了吧！

至於 Dell，其中一樣唔同既係其他機都係 4G RAM, 但 Dell V131 的兩個 testing sample 都係 6G！  我係旺電 3 樓 Dell shop 問既 spec 其實真係算吸引, 金屬殼，i5-2450M (2.5-3.1GHz), 750G 7200rpm HDD, 背光 keyboard, 疑似 Matt 面 screen (無問，自已睇覺得似 Matt 面),  +$199 可轉 Win7Pro，除左略重同問牌無 Toshiba 同 Thinkpad 咁好外，$6500 算係佢最齊的！

可否教我分下？我睇完佢個 spec 都唔識分, 比較關心既係個 screen 有兩個 option，其他都應該唔會攞錯！
