He's just focused on the loading speed of games, not the gaming performance.
If you put emphasis on the gaming performance, I can make sure that list 3 is your best choice.
Also, buying SSD is not wasting money! Using SSD is to raise the efficiency of loading data.
Imagine that you can load the Win7 within 10s or somethings, how amazing that is!

but how can you buy a good graphics card plus SSD with only 5k budget !?
so making a choice is important in this case
graphics card & CPU must first be the primary consideration for a gaming computer
that's the reason why I prefer the last list

also, I want to mention that you can just install the Win7 & other software in the SSD but not any games due to the limited space of 40gb
so except the period of switching on & off the computer ... there is no much difference for a person who mainly focuses on playing computer games installed in a HDD (80% of time as stated by michaeltga2)
