佢應該都算係老細車 坐過後坐都唔太差 但只係坐兩個 三個一定迫
呢部似係樹蛙有尾版
又有四門 又要有力 又要平係 gti同呢部
一係CL9 都有200隻 係尾期都岩岩10年車

Just to share my ownership experience with both Golf Mk6 GTi and BMW E91/E92. All of them were well maintained, ie regular oil change, disc & pad change etc. No oil leak or any "known" problems when the car was sold. All the cars were not modified. Bigger wheels were put on just before the sale of the vehicle, ie to increase its appearance.

Golf 2011 GTi Mk6 (Bought new in Jul 2011, sold in Apr 2016, drove more than 64,000km)

During the 4.5 yrs ownership, full regular maintenance by VWHK. Extra repairs were:
1. Changed battery 2 times (battery was completely flat in both occasions)
2. Air Con pump failed in less than 2 yrs (Fixed under warranty)
3. Water pump failed 2 times (1st one was changed in the 2nd year, 2nd one was changed in just over 4 yr. Both were fixed under warranty)
4. Rear wheel bearing failed in 58,000 km
5. Roof lining collapsing in 3rd year

BMW 2011 E91 323 LCI Touring (Bought new in Apr 2011, sold in Aug 2016, drove more than 133,000km)

During the 5 yrs + ownership, full regular maintenance by BMWHK, extra repairs were:
1. Air Con condensation water leaked to the cabin in 1st year (Fixed under warranty).
2. Battery was changed in 100,000km / 4th yr as a preventive maintenance.

BMW 2010 E92 323 LCI (Bought 2nd hand in Oct 2016. Was 24,000km. Now 65,000km. Still driving)

During the 2 yrs + ownership, full regular maintenance by BMWHK, extra repairs were:
1. Cylinder 6 was misfiring slightly in 50,000km. All 6 Ignition coil and spark plugs were changed as a preventive maintenance.

I have not experienced any mechanical breakdown on all them. The GTi brokedown because of the flat battery. Water pump was leaking so it was fixed before it was completely failed.

In terms of service cost, in order to keep the warranty, I found VW is more expensive, ie 10,000km or every 6 months. But BMW is 12,000km or every 12 months. Outside warranty, I think they are very similar. Both dealers offer discount for repairing old cars.

In terms of running cost, ie fuel, tyres and brakes etc, both of them are very similar. Maybe it is because of my driving style, I did not find the GTi nor E91/92 particular economical, ie average only 9.0-9.5l/100km for GTi, and about 10.5l/100km for E91/92. I live near GoldCoast, work in Central.

Between the GTi and E9x,  I would choose E9x LCI 323 (hence I am still driving the E92), but maybe a E90/E91 instead (more practical). LCI, ie 2010 onwards, is a must especially if it is a 323, ie better engine 190hp instead of 17xhp. I would not buy 335 (N54 and N55), simply because I do not need the horsepower, and it is not as reliable as the 323 N52 engine.

Sure GTi is more fun. If you want to modify, yes it has more potential. But there were just too much small problems for my Golf, ie water pump failed every 2 yrs...wheel bearing failure in just 58k...as a daily (15 - 20k a yr), reliability is more important...
