The CE5300 is actually slower in terms of CPU speed (the commonly-used CE5315 has a dual-core 1.2GHz Atom CPU) but it will have special transcoding hardware (similar to QuickSync in the Core i3/i5) that will be able to transcode multiple 1080p streams... if you have support for it in software.
