Certain USB HDD is not robust for long term use.  In the past a certain brand of USB HDD required power cycle every month.

Please standby the Magic TV, then connect the USB HDD to a PC and use a HDD checking software to check for SMART diagnostic one by one.

Please try this firmware for MTV3200 / 3700D / 7000D and see if it makes any difference (it could have more stuttering but hopefully reboots less often):

And set Video Output Format to 1080i 50Hz.

Those who are not experiencing channel 81 issues should NOT try this firmware.
