Does MTV 8000 support internal 3TB HDD? Can I swap the 1TB 2.5" HDD to 3TB 3.5" HDD and then format it by MTV?

我用mtv3000 5 年，到依家都係用2.5" ，上年仲加多一隻，即有兩隻2.5" 同時用緊，正常使用中。

It is required to make it work at home first:
- Connect MTV8000D to WiFi router using a network cable
- Make sure it's firmware 8.16 or later.  If not, Settings -> System -> Firmware Upgrade
- Gadgets -> Video Streaming Setup -> On
- Connect your iOS device to the same WiFi router using WiFi
- Download and run the free Magic TV Streaming app

Making it work outside requires additional settings in router and/or app.  Here's a (slightly outdated) reference:
