唔該, 那請問師兄，MTV8000D和MTV7000D 除了硬件那個HDMI接口，沒有其它不同嗎? 連軟件都一樣是嗎？

The differences are:
1. HDMI 1080p input
2. 3 x HDMI input
3. Built-in HDMI switch to enable watching a HDMI input (e.g. NowTV) while recording another (e.g. Cable TV)
4. Faster CPU - SMP8673 (same as MTV3300/MTV3800)
5. Gigabit Ethernet
6. Available in 1TB or 4TB configurations

The 1080p INPUT encoding requires a new video processor, which itself is another CPU. Besides, the DMB-TH demodulator is also upgraded to LGS-9X. The HDMI switch requires new hardware and software. There is no USB 3.0 simply because SMP8673 does not support it.

The software for different generations of units are of course different. Even though the user interface stays almost the same, some of the underlying stuff are very different, especially with the new video processor for encoding.

唔該哂, wklie 兄.

可惜我其中一部駁唔到 Lan 線, 所以只好搬隻 harddisk. 不過我用 WD Passport, 超方便, 一插 usb 就用得.

Thanks 師兄，我理解是: 主要是upgrade咗CPU，軟硬體都圍繞新CPU來做，但現在的USB2.0實在太慢，HD高清節目一小時為5GB，1080P恐怕更高達10GB，以現在USB2.0的速度抄走要34分鐘(我用3.0的3.5吋硬盤盒)，而且又不可一次性選好要移走的多項節目，要每隔十幾廿分鐘去選一次要搬移的節目。

在PC裡Harddisk的速度高達150MB/s, 可唔可以設計一塊USB3.0的interface轉接板，對外是USB3.0的速度，對內優化CPU和內置Harddisk之間的速率，可否提高一些速度?
