The cheaper the enclosure the more unreliable its chipset is

No point saving $$ on a cheapie and unreliable enclosure with poor design and QC

I'll probably stick with the Akasa Noir S ($150) even though it can only do up to SATA2

BTW which SATA3 chipset does the Transcend really use?
Any additional pics on the enclosure (preferably in disassembled state)?

And the HDD is only being held with this and with no other PCBs to screw the HDD in place??
