カードケースよりデックを取り出します。デックを表向きにリボンスプレッドして仕掛けのないことを示します。
デックを揃えて裏向きにして、２人の客にカードを抜いて覚えてもらいます。
次に演者も１枚のカードを選びシールにサインして貼ります。客にも同じようにサインしたシールを選んだカードに貼ってもらいます。
客の選んだカードをデックにもどし、カードケースの中に半分程入れます。デックをカードケースの中に完全に入れ、再びデックを出してくると、まず演者の選んだカードがボトムに現れます。
演者の選んだカードを取り出し、カードケースにデックを入れると今度は客のサインしたカードが現れます。もう１枚の客のカードも同じように現れます。デックをスプレッドしますが、怪しいところは一切ありません。

Effect

Theperformer introduces a deck of cards. It is spread face up on the tableto show there is nothing funny about it. The cards are squared andturned face down. Two of the spectators take part in this trick. Eachof them takes a card and remembers its rank and suit. The performerchooses a card, too. He signs his name on a sticker and places it onthe face of his card. The two volunteers do the same thing. Theirselected cards are replaced into the deck and the deck is insertedhalfway into its case. The magician pushes the deck all the way andtakes a pause. Then he tilts the case to slide out the deck. Themagician's selection has appeared on the face of the deck. He puts itaside. Without any suspicious move, the deck is inserted again into thecase. He tilts the case and the deck slides out with one of thespectators' cards on the face! Of course, it has a spectator'ssignature. The performer repeats the above procedure to reveal thesecond spectator's card. The deck is spread to prove it is regular.
