HP mini 210 non broadcom version

Just joined a 24 months Mobile WIFI plan and get a free mini 210(1034TU, prepaid $2699 fully return in 24 months); it is not 1366x768, and doesn't has broadcom crystal HD chip..... but has a 6 cell battery.

Can i upgrade and get the broadcom HD chip? at HP? or DIY? how much?

The broadcomm hardware decoder asks for $399 at New Golden Centre.

is this involving serious modification or just plug a card in?  I read that somewhere said it has to remove the wifi card to plug in a broadcom HD card....

(and 399 is quite expensive, considering the limited usage(only  watching HD, no use for other application)

i don't think buyers will be interested in mini210 without boardcom HD

我印象中 HP Mini 210 好似係同一個底板 , 如果你係 non-Broadcom version 應該會有多個 PCIe 槽的

如果你唔介意無咗保用 , 自己拆下睇下囉

thanks brother, no HD hardware acceleration is a problem....I can't watch u tube HD smoothly....I don't know if I instal the boardcom HD chip can solve this problem
