高清字幕一問

目前TVB同viutv都係畫面高清，但字幕卻仍然係標清狀態（直播新聞除外，播新聞時候係高清嘅字幕），得港台31走高清字幕。
點解高清數碼廣播咁多年都仲未完全使用高清字幕呢？

ViuTV開台果時都係高清字幕, 但因為有舊款STB/IDTV食唔起甚至輕機(因為OFTA最初出俾STB生產商個spec無話要支援高清字幕), 最後都要屈服轉標清
港台一來無乜人睇, 而且大部份時間都係內嵌字幕所以應該無人投訴過

就係呢的聞說是 三星 Sony 08/09年初代 IDTV 搞到電視台（viu）被逼屈服，高清畫面唔高清字幕，根本掃興

至於港台 CC 乜係高清嘅咩？我以為只係字體/形狀顏色唔同，並唔係高清 （高清以播放時的字幕解像度判斷，並非視覺判斷）

Because this is not a requirement in OFCA spec for digital TV broadcast in Hong Kong.

高清 or not 高清 is not a big problem
A bigger concern is the RASTERISED subs and NOT real text data being included in the transport stream...
That makes computer subs extraction very difficult

Even worse, these subs are not even considered as TRUE closed caption but the station h as advertised it as such...

This is the DVB-SI standard as used in Europe, and HK (on top of DMB-T/H).  Conceptually it is similar to DVD subtitle or Blu-ray subtitle.

It solves the problem of requiring every TV or player to have the font for international languages.
