睇report 唔多覺,  其實主要係長時間I/O就會發熱

wd blue 係NVME,不過行gen3 x 2.
我部asus laptop 用 sandisk msata 唔係好熱,可能因為慢
wd black 2018, wd black sn750, toshiba G6都勁熱,但速度快
wd blue部新HP laptop 用緊, 未詳細試,但部機試過hang機咁,出過no response問我等唔等之類,部機未過7日,但唔係成日出,show唔到比sale睇,無得換機

fast nvme = hot but finish the work in short time , then it will get cool

slower m.2 sata = not hot as fast nvme but need longer time to finish the job

it depends

reminder : MX500 sustain write nearly 500 on 1TB or larger model
some "fast" nvme TLC / QLC SSD will slower than MX500 when SLC cache is full
