Would like to share you my experience of Magic TV - 設定嚮導 problem!
My MTV-7000D Mini, yesterday, when switch on, it show a screen of 設定嚮導, press any remote button didn't react!
Unplug power / unplug the internal HDD still got the same screen!
Have no idea what have gone wrong! OK, open the case and check if anything give a hints, check the internal battery (CR 2032, the battery for the clock), YES, it is the internal battery drain!
Replace the CR 2032, problem still exist!
Why, then, I remember the MTV default, it won’t support the non-MTV remote unless you enable it from the set-up. (when the battery drain, even replace w/ the new battery, all the old setup will be reset!)
But, I don’t have any original MTV remote, how to do!?
Recall the MTV can install remote control Apps (Android / iOS), after install the apps, connect the MTV w/ same network, this time, the apps can finally control the MTV. Once setup to support 3rd party remote, it work finally!
Hope this story may help U if you face the same situation one day! (I almost considering of buy a new machine already! Now can save it)
