Milestone , N1 , Root 左後無保養 ??

關於大家都話 , root 左機就無左保養 ,
其實我想問下大家 , 係保養條款寫到明定係點 ??

根據硬件保養既慣常做法 , 例如你去買台 notebook
你唔會因為由 windows 轉用 linux 而保養失效

以前我用過 htc ( dopod 年代 ) , 自己英文機換左中文 firmware ,
返到去保修果陣佢只係同我講 : 【我會幫你 reset 去出廠設定】

又好似 eeepc , 之前話加 ram 係無保養 , 最後又係要承認返個保養

另外 , 在廠方角度 , 根本無可能【證明】我係自行有心去 root 機 ,
個 user 上網 download 左個 file 中左毒關個 user 咩事 ??
( milestone 要 root 只係 run 一個 program 而已 )
如果視 rooting program 為 virus , 咁廠方做部會中毒既手機出黎
責任在於廠方....

我唔係想搵著數 or 包拗頸 , 而係我覺得因 root 機而無左硬件保養根本就係唔公平
而且 windows mobile 年代都只係幫你 reset ,
end user 理應係無責任 , 也不一定有能力去分析什麼軟體可以執行
什麼軟體不可以執行 , 如果執行軟體會影響硬體運作似乎講唔通....

明顯係用家既軟件開發者有責任啦....不過你果個"軟件"又點得黎?under 咩TOS?

    um.. similar case applied to PC or notebook as well. if you crash the PC by flashing the BIOS. The manufacturing company can deny to repair your PC or request you to pay for it. It is not assume that a user will perform. N1/google does allow you to update the OS(Android) through OTA, they can put the OS to your system and update through the network.

Basically , if you flashing the bios wrongly and cause it bruck ,
you could send the board back to agency and ask for warranty .
