請問用Magic TV mtv7000d/ 7000d-mini/ 8000d錄AV輸入（CVBS/ S-Video）畫質有無分別？
如果只駁左聲道（白色），識唔識detect做單聲道？

If possible use only S-Video (if source machine permits)
When recording to MTV do expect AV signal delay (of few seconds)
Also 7000D/mini have problems with syncing with the VCR's blue menu screen (8000D is OK and more stable)

Also, if your source material (eg. tape) has both stereo and mono audio tracks, the MTV can only pick up the stereo tracks
Meanwhile the audio recording quality cannot be adjusted so the best you can do is AAC 48kHz at 128kbps
Maximum video quality is capped at around 8.9Mbps

一般電視機駁單聲道device（即黃+白）會識得左右喇叭出同樣嘅聲，Magic TV識唔識咁樣？定只會得左邊有聲、右邊無聲？
錄出嚟條片會show單聲道定係立體聲（即右邊永遠無聲）？

MTV8000D uses a newer encoder chip than MTV7000D series.
No mono detection.

So if the source material has no stereo tracks and only mono tracks, the MTV8000 will not pick that up and render the video no audio?  That sucks......
