唔知一般上網會唔會有data寫入SSD的?抑或只會寫入RAM唔會寫入SSD?如果會寫入SSD用RAM disk可以減低不必要寫入次數延長TLC SSD壽命嗎?

條ram都唔係平
唔介意慢少少一係玩16gb 洋垃圾optane
但唔介意慢的話條ssd都唔係貴

SSD其實都幾難壞
我隻SSD 日日BT 由12年用到而家都未壞

唔係錢嘅問題,係怕佢行行下突然間死機,如果減少寫入保障到差不多五年壽命,咁每四五年換一次SSD我有個預算唔使提心吊膽咁用.

Have been using Primocache for years.  It's more flexible and powerful than ordinary ramdisk software.  One of the use cases, reduce Wear on Solid-State Drives by Defer-Write.

Enable Defer-Write and set the write latency to 1 hour

前前後後用左ramdisk 十幾年, 所以一路跟開呢度有關ramdisk 的post.
ImDisk toolkit 係最好. 免費的. 我現在win10 也在用, 只有一個缺點係難D 上手.

市面有好多ramdisk 但想做大少少disk size 就要收費版. 呢個唔會.
我ramdisk 做8-9gb (忘記了)無問題. 你做太大size 我唔知得唔得. 無師兄你咪有米投資落電腦度.....

另外shut down 會保留文件在ramdisk 裡, 但restart, 斷電ramdisk 內的文件就會無左.
一般ramdisk 你set 左你一開機, 相關的ram 會立即被revised,
但呢個ramdisk 係dynamic ram disk, 即係唔放野入去唔佔ram. 不過你咁多ram, 好似唔係好關你事....

其實我都係有留意以前的post, 有師兄問daynamic ram disk 的問題, 我才認識這個program.

要注意佢其實係一個 mount image 的 software 來的,  ram disk 係要基於佢的本體程式之下的申延. 即係唔可以開左個ram disk 功能後將 mount iso 的程式uninstall, 會令ramdisk 用唔到.

另外, 自win8 起有內建的 read iso 功能, 我曾經試過佢和 imdisk 會衝突, 現在不知會不會了.
上網爬文有solution 的, 不相關的就不講太多了.

Please note that Primocache is a kind of disk caching software (not ramdisk).
