Suggestions on Linux distro. for USB drives?
Hi. I have got a 4 GB USB drive for some time, I use it to store my files, school assignments..etc. Now I find that I have about 3 GB of space not being used (wasted), and I want to install Linux on the USB drive and boot from it.
I have visited DSL, KNOPPIX and Debian Live Project, these are attractive, but I have a question... Since I still want to use my USB drive to store my files, is it possible to partition the USB drive into 2 paritions (1 GB + 3 GB), 1 GB for Linux and 3 GB to store my files? Does the distro. mentioned above allow me to do this? Or I need to do some hacking on configuration files?
Thanks for reading. |
