Congratulations C-hing !!

Me too is a RME fans and now have an ADI-2 fs-DAC... a very satisfying experience so far.
I now playing with 3.1 channels... as its RCA and XLR can both output at the same time, L,R channels using RCA feeding my preamp and 300B single ended poweramp. The centre channel is a phantom one and combined with L+R feeding a single channel power amp.

The XLR outputs are feeding to a DSP to drive my subwoofer.

The sound is super realistic to me.

The beauty of RME is they have a world class driver update.... so your DAC will never be out of date with the OS that your RME DAC is running on to....
