[操作疑難] M.2 SSD in Thinkpad X260

Hi, just wondering if anyone tried to add a M.2 SSD in the Thinkpad X260?

Does anyone know whether it is a M.2 Pci-e or mSATA Slot? Support M + B Key???
(Next to the Wifi Card)

The slot next to wifi card just works for X240 and X250 but not X260

X260 T460 need the converter to NVME from the SATA slot.
Or simply, just go for SATA3 SSD

You need a convertor to turn harddisk to nvme ssd,but the convertor is hard to get.

I don't quite understand, so I need to get a mSata SSD
Then get a converter to covert from mSata to nvme?

Would a nvme SSD work directly?

No, X260不支援mSATA SSD
而機入面既兩條NGFF Slot只係俾你插Wi-Fi / 4G Module, 你插SSD落去係唔work既

你既選擇只有兩個
1. 用2.5" SATA SSD, 最方便
2. 用M.2 NVMe SSD (注意, 必需NVMe, 不能SATA Mode), 但係要買以下配件將2.5" bay轉為M.2:

Thanks, that was disappointing to hear

I originally hoped to install a SSD for the OS, then install another mechanical 2.5 inch hard drive for multimedia content

I got the large battery pack, and it would be excellent for surviving long flights.

Anyway thanks for the replies!!!

SSD is quite cheap now, just buy a 2.5” 1T SSD
