Intel Wifi link 5100/5300 have 5Ghz.....but 5300 is hard to found as 6300 launched....

not really, you can found in ebay have WiFi Link / WiMax 5150, 5350, 5300, 6200, 6300 ....
I just bought 3pcs of WiFi 5300 (<$200) for IBM is a bit more expensive (~$300)

probably not, it should be not on the lenovo whitelist, you have to mod the bios, otherwise you will have 1802 error
