no, it can identify your HDD content.
Of course, for the data, you better to have a backup la. Data is so expensive, right?

but in case you make new "drive group" to re-arrange your HDD, the data will lose since initialization is required. In case you keep existing drive droup, not change, it can be identify.
To use 8888ELP, most likely to build the Raid 6, so that make new drive group without choice, then you have to initial again, data and system need to be re-installed

It's PCI-E 8x
You can simply import the previous RAID setting to 8888 by pressing one button during the screen it prompts you.

... but no Lane to use it....How about if I use this Intel but just in 4X is possible? any C-Hing could advice.
