Good news for those who are still using the HTC Magic.
I received an e-mail from Smartone informing me that the new firmware will be releasing soon which will support HTC Sense and therefore you can enjoy the same new interface as the HTC Hero.
Also for those who are smart to buy the HTC Magic at a cheaper price ($2200 for 2nd hand), will really enjoy using the phone with the new firmware.
I think the new firmware should be out by early October.

HTC has confirmed of the ROM upgrade for over a month at various meetings with the press and public.

if you dont care about that 5mp cam and 3.5mm phonejack, Magic is a very good choice, anyway i dont like hero that outloook, Magic is much better for me.

Yes, HTC Magic does look better than the HTC Hero.
Actually for those looking to buy either one, I would recommend the HTC Magic.
It is cheaper and if you want to get it on 2nd Hand you can probably pick one up for $2200. That is very cheap!!!

Those metal looking buttons on the Black looks weird. But if White is all out then will settle for Black.

But on the white model the buttons are white.
The silver buttons on the black give it an elegant look.

Black is boring? It is actually the other way round.
Black colour model has a reddish maroon finish on the sides and the buttons are silver.
White colour model has a silver finish on the sides and the buttons are also white.
Anything that is white will get dirty fast. That is why white or what they call it "Pearl White" is targetted for girls. It has always been the case. Yes, there are some guys who prefer white but then it is a personal choice.

I think so. However, people are now saying that the firmware may release in November.
May be because Hero just released and HTC wants to cash in before people realize that it is smarter to buy the HTC Magic instead.

白色iphone用咗成年都好好喎, 部magic都有一個月都好似新嘅一樣....
令面係唔容易污漕嘅, 清潔亦都好容易

你講呢個可能性都唔奇,因為硬件上九成似,連軟件都追埋就真係自己打自己.
不過只要佢唔再推出magic,或者市面停售等,就可能冇咁易打自己,咁樣一停,實好多炒貨出現
