我裝咗ubuntu 25.10,
installed some media players,
such as Audacious, deadbeef, VLC and Rhythmbox,
however, both of them are not able to rip a CD!
they always says the file is empty, or data error,
but they can plays the CD without any problems, it goes smoothly,
except Audacious, when it play a CD, the sound comes skipping.
I also installed K3b, it's a software for ripping CD,
however, it is failed with the same reason, the file is empty!
Please let me know if there are any ways to do?

我10幾年前試過，係得，ripped左the very best of Eagles、Bee Gee's their greatest hit
有一隻還是兩隻係dsd cd
唔得係因為有讀取保護

最簡單是用 Asunder 應用程式將CD盤音軌提取為 MP3、FLAC 或 OGG 格式。插入 CD，開啟軟體，然後點選「擷取音軌」按鈕，即可將曲目直接儲存到您的電腦。
按偏好設定，可以設定存放位置，音軌提取後的格式「MP3、OGG、FLAC」
打開存在位置，檢查音軌是否確切已被提取
使用播放器(任一種你喜歡的都可以) ，便可以播放擷取自CD的歌曲。
無論是「Ubuntu、Debian、ArchLinux...」等等都可以安裝「Asunder」，而「LinuxMint」是預載的軟件，(應用程式>>影音>>Asunder CD Ripper)。

不是呀，我另一部腦裝linux mint 22.2 時，都係裝同樣軟件再加埋KODI，當時一切正常，之後換成 linux 22.3就同樣出事，前日我試下移除呢啲軟件，能夠在網上找到官方安裝包的都自己裝，期後發現ＫＯＤＩ正常翻，可以rip到同一張ＣＤ，所以不是有保護版權問題呀。
但係在桌面呢部腦，ubuntu 就算找到官網安裝包裝咗都一樣，甚至ＶＬＣ直頭乜都做唔到，叫佢都唔出嚟添！

呢個程式，我在網上找呢個帖嘅解決方法時，我就發現佢啦，
去下載來想安裝，但佢係一個.tar.bz2的檔案，我extract咗佢之後，
就唔識點裝呀。
我以往都遇過呢類檔案，試上過網找教安裝嘅方法，但係都搞唔掂。
我都試過用command line 同 ubuntu app store安裝，但係都安裝不成功！

同一個package，甚至相同version，個版本號碼一樣，但compile from source code to binary既時候enabled disabled唔同選項，會有唔同既功能變化
