我下載了linux mint 21, 燒咗USB放入電腦開機，
但係如果選第一個選項進行試用與安裝，
佢係進入時，支USB閃幾閃就一直停留在黑畫面，
但係如果選第二選項，compatible mode 佢就可以進入到畫面及進行安裝，
但係安裝完都係開唔到機，
但係我用ubnutu 安裝又得喎，咁起馬不是我部腦問題啦。
咁我將mint的USB插去另一部腦試裝，佢又得喎，裝到喎！
咁即係邊方面出問題呀？

how long it needs ?
normally the screen will be display no longer than 2-3 mins.
and the USB light was stopped flashing.

i had once waited for about 5 minutes, don't know what was holding it up. if you really want linux mint, may be you can try "downgrade" the installation disk to previous version.

有可能係video driver問題, 試下boot機時加nomodeset

This makes it possible to have high resolution nice looking splash (boot) screens and flicker free transitions from boot splash to login screen. Unfortunately, on some cards this doesnt work properly and you end up with

响Windows咪safe mode，load少啲driver，display resolution好細。你多數係display問題。响compatible mode睇到嘢，安裝啱晒，reboot係正常mode，你想reboot完都係compatible mode就每次按入，或改grub default choice。

安裝Mint21後不能啓動應對方法：
起動時進入主板EUFI/BIOS，將Secure Boot 由Windows改選Other OS
若主機板BIOS無Secure Boot選項，則使用Mint20.3代替MINT21。
原因不詳述，簡單說是顯示屏解析度及更新頻率未被正確載入驅程所支援。

我不是安裝後不能進入，而係在插入usb後在live模式選擇安裝佢就一直處於黑畫面，安裝不到。
我後來都試過安 mint 20.3但安裝完，佢無法上網，在setting 度，完全不見任何連線，無論lan or wifi。
昨晚我試下安裝LMDE 5, 進入到安裝畫面，不過個畫面解像有點低，
每樣顯示都出咗屏幕下方，又拉唔到佢上啲喎！無得按next.
去display 度想調整又無得比我選喎，結都係唔裝到，
後來裝Ubuntu 一切正常用緊。
我呢部腦是剛換了新底板新ram新U，12代i5，都咁個樣！舊果時反而得。

nomodeset係boot機一個kernel option, 具體用處上邊條link解釋咗，
用安裝usb開機, 見到Grub Menu 扲 "e" 可臨時修改kernel command line parameters, 係後面加"nomodeset"，然後F10 boot機就得

各家 DISTRO 自己都無啦啦攪咁多無謂對立結果最尾可能害死自己,因為硬體制造商唔會有咁多資源照顧晒咁多自家規矩

純粹不同 Distro 的目標 user 唔同，而且可以簡單透過 Kernel options解決, 關對立乜事？又唔駛你自己 Compile kernel
