tried garuda linux lately, xfce4 desktop, it is beautiful, installation is slow (may be just in hong kong), good for beginner. filesystem is default for btrfs, i don't feel any different from ext4, i installed it on my htpc, will try to install some games.

我策略性先 DL CINNAMON 試,主要睇有冇一D 較實用功能

you may be right, i have problem with chinese interface (i think it auto detect my location) during installation. i need to use english interface. after the first reboot, a program pop up and ask about install more programs, e.g. cjk support, more games, more browsers, office suits, multi media program, communication  ...
anyway, if you want chinese input, you still need install it yourself.
