I think it is not necessary to change the default port of samba as samba is only work for intranet only. I suggest you not to make the samba for sharing in internet. Because it is very danger. Beware!

要對外Share files，可以用(S)FTP。

睇黎要棄SAMBA回歸FTP
上回講到, 開左個FTP, 再DMZ, 我CONNECT EXTERNAL 個IP 去FTP, 成功, 但係我D WINDOWS USERS 話唔得
其實好多人都起NAS, 究竟係用邊個方法去招呼WIN USERS 架? 我浪費左好多時間, 走錯方向

If you set up a FTP server with Linux, any operating system users can use it.
Please search the Google for your problem.
