公司有張Adaptec 1220SA,唸住裝在Enterprise Linux Oracle Update 4度,去adaptec個website度睇support Redhat Enterprise Linux 3/4/5, 試下download黎裝, 點知唔得.
想問下Redhat Enterprise Linux 同Oracle Enterprise Linux ,係咪兩個完全的OS ?

係兩個OS, Oracle Enterprise Linux4 雖然係參考RHEL4設計,
但folder tree跟RHEL4有唔同. 亦未必可以完全binary兼容.

Oracle Enterprise Linux is one of the derivatives of RHEL. Although they are very very similar, it may fail once you install h/w driver. This is because the installation will check to see if your OS exactly meets its requirement or not..

咁要揾我張1220SA raid card driver for Oracle Enterprise Linux 都幾難, 官方又唔support

Adaptec web site有provide linux driver source code喎, 不過要自己試下build喇..!
