I have used a few brands of glass coatings.
Oxxx-Cxxx last forever.
But I am using Mercedes' proprietary ceramic glass coating on my Jap tin can box.

都無咩人討論,嘥氣,香港地好多人山邊播土牆沙石水都可以用黎洗車
自己玩又要有地方,一陣又話車場地下唔比濕水
跟本無咩舖頭賣好野,賣緊果D都系又舊又唔好用
跟本美容就冇得做,一系情願比幾千/皮幾野去做鍍膜
支野就幾百其他去晒人工,同人吹水跟本冇人識,好難有知音
外國人就周時會有搵D錢七舊陳皮黎玩,外觀番新到新車咁
每部車不論平貴,都可能有佢故事,係你心目中可能錢七,但在於我黎講可能比超跑仲有感覺情懷

樓上位師兄見佢周時會分享下,諗佢已找到汽美果種樂趣

meguiars hybrid ceramic

已經做完三架車、第ー次同普通打臘ー様做法
但之後就容易打理好多、效果比水臘時間長和光亮、
但成本比臘貴、三架車用五次就用完一支（2架SUV、1架大7人車）
經過一個多月、幾滿意！

If you do it urself, Get a good car wash soap.
Wash, dry, prepare for coating, apply coating, walk away.
Took me 10 minutes for doing it very slowly.

Otherwise ur shop will do it for u in 1 minute.

1. The soft99 is not a glass cleaner in our typical understanding.

要搵D聲稱防靜電既產品先得~
之前CarPro有隻類似叫Hydro2Lite既野聲稱話得, 不過我未試~
另外, 有好多老前輩老車主話洗車果陣加D衣物柔順劑落去, 當日我想試但完全唔知份量所以唔敢試~

不過係香港真係防塵既作用大過光潔好多.......防唔到塵其實點搞都只係清潔~

    I dont work for Wxxxxxxx.
But I have been to their office before.
They are probably the biggest in Detailing but may not be the best.
Maybe you can try pay them a visit too

    I said many times I DO NOT WORK FOR ANY CAR-RELATED COMPANY.
So I did not make a claim.   I made a quote to manufacturer's claim.

The manufacturer Wxxxxxxx states in black and white - that particular product I tested uses:
"...signature deep gloss shine and durable German Super Polymer paint protection...
offers maximum UV protection to keep your vehicle's paint looking great for years...."

If you are concerned about the product, give the manufacturer a call.
Dont ask me why. I DO NOT WORK FOR ANY CAR-RELATED COMPANY.
I am a person with excessive free time to buy things with cash, test things, and talk about things online.
I am a person who rate product from different brand based on what I see / saw on my car(s).

    Actually W-brand is quite popular among car guys.
I am not going into detail how 1 wax end up being 5 different variants today.
But from what I know they started blending things around 2000 or so.
And from what I know their polymers were indeed borrowed from Germany.

Let me share another story related to these car care stuff:

A few years ago I actually complained to some manufacturers, e.g. Woxxxxxx and Opxxxxx, about the durability claim of their products.
I said a group of us tested it on a few cars, ranging from luxury BMW to tin can Yaris parked outdoor every day.
These products last over 12 months and still protecting so well. Why they claimed 2-3 months online?

They wrote back to us that yes these products do last very long time.
However, most users do not have proper technique, tools and procedures.
So you may see more or see less than what another guy see.
Being manufacturer, they can only play safe and make adjustments to avoid legal actions.
Afterall business is not someone like me with excess time to post on forums.

Make sense.
So I test a lot and stay with *thing* that shine like liquid mirror on car paint.





P.S.: the above 2 photos are taken with P-brand and O-brand products.
They are the competitors of W-brand.
So if you think I work for W, then sorry I would disappoint you.

DA一定夠力做拋光 因為其實打蠟係唔需要大力嘅,我自己就會配啲五吋DA盤, 用Cutting Pad打粗蠟, Polish  Pad 拋光 and  SiO2 Liquid Wax ( 懶..) . 千祈唔好用電鑽打

    I have not played auto detailing for a few years.  So, I have not left comments here for some years ...   So, my comments may not really have reference value.

Chemical Guys products, they are just OK.  Not too bad and not too good.  However, if you have other choices, I prefer to try others.  

About the photo, it should be 16oz.  If you apply this on a Stepwgn, I think 16oz can use more than 10 times or more .  So, it should be far from enough.  

Apply wax ... just apply as thin as possible ... Otherwise, you are just wasting your product at all.

終於開左支hybrid wax 用，成車噴晒，支野好香吹波膠味
如果同paint guard plus 比，我都係鐘意用paint guard plus, hybrid wax 太油似wax多啲，落玻璃同鏡反光到爆，我抺左三次先正常番, paint guard plus 落完玻璃同鏡抺多次就正常番，至於長唔長久，幾個月後再講
