Win 10, no complain on usual stuff!
But 1+ min to enter sleep mode is just too long.

Compare to win 7 before, only about 5 sec!

Turn off Allow hybrid sleep in your current Power Plan, then Windows 10 would sleep within 5 seconds.
If you don't use hibernate at all, you can turn off hibernate feature by using the command "powercfg -h off" in Command Prompt(Admin).

我有 enable hiber,因爲要用 fast restart,都唔需要成分种先 sleep 到。
fast restart or fast sleep, fast restart 是重點,所以唯有 enable hiber。

點可以又要馬兒好又有馬兒不吃草?你要Fast boot就一定要啓動Hibernate,咁佢Hibernate果陣就一定會將RAM既內容寫入HDD/SSD。你用SSD裝系統既話可能會快D。

I have already turn off hibernate!
Not sure if the hybrid sleep is on or not? But it should be if I disabled hibernate! And the explanation is kinda stupid, I can always resume immediately from sleep, because everything stays in ram! If it saves the hibernate file to hdd/sdd, the loading time is silly anyway, cause I have 18G of ram...
BTW, i'm using ssd as C:

No need to turn off hibernate completely if you would use it, just turn off Hybrid sleep alone would sleep a lot faster.
The main purpose of hybrid sleep is allow you to resume from hibernate by writing hibernate file before sleep, just in case of an unexpected power cut(battery dead or unplug from the mains) during sleep state, useful on laptop but not so useful on desktop.
I tested unplugging battery after sleep on my old HP netbook and Windows 10 would resume to previous state without problem.

I know mate, but mine is desktop, not notebook...
I mean it's Windows 10 already, M$ should have detected it's desktop and hardly need hybrid sleep... and if I specifically disabled hibernate, then hybrid sleep should be off automatically!!
at least now I know why it takes so long, I think M$ compressed hiberfil.sys before writing it to disk!?

I was just in case that you want your desktop would be safe from power outage during sleep state.
Besides, my reply not solely for you, it also for someone who search with Google or other search engine and maybe they would find replay could help them later on.
By the way hiberfil.sys is the same size as the memory you've install in your system, no compression as I know of, maybe your previous Windows 7 was disabled the hybrid sleep and you didn't know.
