邊有3個咁多呀....

我6月時都只係得2key, 7月改到有d 得返1 key, 有d 就直頭cut 左(win7 home basic).......

When I subscribe Technet pro at 2010, there was 10 keys for Win 7 Ulitmate an 1 key for Win 7 Enterprise (500 activations). Later, some user reported that Win 7 Ultimate had cut down to 5 keys.

    What you are talking are part of the functions of Technet/MSDN. In addition, Technet provide software for evaluation while MSDN provide software for development. These software are the same as the retail version except it cannot be used in the production. However, you need to pay for the subscription for Technet/MSDN.

The function held yearly in CEC is TechEd. However, since 2 or 3 years ago, TechEd is not running in Hong Kong anymore and it is replaced by TechDays.

In these few years, M$ is promoting Technet direct which does not include the DVD and a lower subscription price.

之前win7 最top 係ultimate,所以佢係無vl.
今次win8 係enterprise 版無vl, 反而pro 版有， 所以想攪清楚邊個版本係最top.

唔係話係enterprise 都要有vl...

enterprise版無得加media center, 所以唔可以話係最top

p.s. enterprise版本身只有VL, 而且win7 enterprise就是vl版的ultimate吧

The software may require a key to install or access it. Not all software is provided with the same number of keys. You are responsible for the use of any keys assigned to you. You may not resell, share, assign, or otherwise transfer keys. Key activity is monitored. Microsoft reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription, without any notice or obligation to you, if Microsoft detects suspicious activity related to keys or activations. Microsoft reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether an activity constitutes suspicious activity. Suspicious activity could include, but is not limited to, keys being activated in geographic regions that are different from the geographic location of the subscription activation or purchase, downloading of a large number of keys, and other similar activities. Microsoft may deactivate or otherwise limit your keys when your subscription ends. Deactivated keys will not be able to activate software.

how about technet subscriber? it is a yearly renewal. is it meant that I just own them only ONE year if I stop subscription?

I saw the following change  in the FAQ.

    Made Microsoft software use and other subscription benefits available only during the 12 month subscription period.

Does it mean that the keys obtained cannot be activated after the subscription ended?

Yes, thats correct. If you get a new account or renewed a existing account after 16.July this year, you will not be able to activate any keys claimed on your Technet account if you let your account expire. Do you want to use your keys, you have to renew your account so long as you want to use the keys.

If you have an older account, that is not renewed after 16.July, you still have perpetual rights, and can use your key for rest of your life, so long as you follow the EULA terms and not run out of activations.
