This lens is built well and creates a great image when it works. The major issue with it is I kept receiving a lens communications error every time I used it for photography. In a single shoot, I had this message pop up at least 8-10 times and had to restart the camera for it to fix the issue to shoot again. As someone who uses my camera for work on a professional basis, this was an absolute nightmare of a situation while working and unacceptable. After research, I found others have had the same issue that I was having letting me know this is a widespread issue. I have used the Sony E-mount version of this lens with no issues in the past. Another issue I ran into was for some reason every time I used this lens I found that it seemed to take a much longer time to take photos and it would freeze up after shooting multiple photos at once. I know this is not a camera issue as these issues do not occur when I use my other native lenses to shoot photos. I ended up returning the lens and would not recommend this lens to anyone until Samyang fixes these issues.

The focal length and aperture made this a lens I waited for to be released.

The images are great, the build is great, but I constantly get the same communication error when it's mounted to my S5ii.

Will there be a firmware update to correct this?

I also bought a mount ring for this and was for the E-mount version!!!

    其實到iphone 16 pro
佢0.5x 13mm 48mp都係一般
不過我影風景＇永遠只用0.5x/1x cam
未甪過3x/5c
