部機突然话冇硬碟機, 想打開佢又找不到羅C口, 有冇師兄知道點開?如換 hard disk 是否要2.5 吋harddisk?

我曾經拆開過部舊機MTV3000，螺絲位喺4粒膠腳下，最後一粒位於機背，我估MTV3800D應該一樣。

    認唔到 hdd有幾個可能原因

1. 壞 hdd

2. 火牛老化導致供電不足

3. 主板老化(損壞)，唯有外接 usb hdd

如果係我

會拆機將個 hdd接去電腦

Check下有冇損壞

如果發現冇問題就換火牛

兩樣做齊都有問題就係主板道

我冇記錯的話
舊款大機3000 3100果D
揭起膠腳拆4粒螺絲
應該好易甩到底蓋
連暗扣都冇的
機背果粒好似係固定紅白黃AV插位
新既細機冇拆過唔肯定有冇改設計

It should be possible to disassemble it after removing the rubber feet.

Take out the HDD and check it in a computer.

Replacement HDD needs to be 2.5" and no higher than 9.5mm.

    Thanks. Wklie 師兄, 有冇2.5 吋harddisk 推介。。而家最大support harddisk size 是否4T?

No recommendation.  A HDD that does not do idle sleep / head parking is better.

4TB is supported, but to my knowledge there is no 2.5" 4TB HDD with 9.5mm height.

24x7 reasons (in order of importance)
- instant access, no need to wait for warm-start
- a 2.5" 2TB usb hdd is being connected, frequent sleep/warm-start actions will lead to high load/unload count (previously I had a hdd with load/unload count exceeding 300,000, which was the suggested maximum value).
- I suspect ... frequent sleep/warm-start actions might shorten the life span of the unit.  As mentioned, it has been running at 24x7 for nearly 5 years, no problem at all!

In addition, a notebook stand with cooling fan is a must have add-on accessory.  Especially during summer seasons.
