How can we find out which part causes this problem?
First, can we confirm that the video stream is free of error ? Maybe the software decoders are less sensitive to error stream.
Can it be the TV card that decode the signal incorrectly and output an problematic video streams?
Can it be the TV station signal modulator or video stream encoder?
I donno. But first we have to confirm the video stream contains no error bits. Is this problem occurs only when we are watching TVB H264 programmes, and everything is fine when watching ATV?
So far, from what I observed from previous posts, this occurs when watching TV, but not when watching other H264 encoded files.

Does the "爆格" when watching the film is similar to the "爆格" when watching TV?
Which H264 profile/level the encoded film is at? I heard that ATI hardware acceleration, like most of the hardware decoders, only support up to level 4.1 (It's the level Bluray discs using). But software decoders, like CoreAVC, ffmpeg, etc, may support higher levels.
H.264 video must comply with its level limitations for max macroblocks/sec, max macroblocks/picture, max decoded picture buffer size, etc, which limits the number of reference frames at each video resolution. But some film files are encoded at level higher than 4.1 and with high number of reference frames. These files cannot be played using hardware. That's why you sometimes find files tagged with PS3 playable or something like that.

Will it be the TV card chipset bug? We don't know if all guys who have this looping problem are using the same TV card chipset.
I am just trying to think it in another way, and not saying that it's not an ATI problem.

Are you sure that the video stream is free of error bits? We have to find this out first. I think people can implement the software decoders to make it less sensitive to error and skip error bitstreams automatically. Don't assume, don't presume on tests.

我的h.264 file 是 Blu-ray 電影的原盤或 remux 版, 不是重新re-compress 版, 所以應該合符規格的.

hmmm... if corrupted blocks appears when playing Blu-ray 電影的原盤... disappointed.
Please help all of us ATI users to report all the information to ATI. I think you have to state clearly to them which blu-ray disc you are playing, the ati chip and software you are using.

I have never encountered this problem with my Blu-ray discs. What are the contents that you are playing ?

葉問, 海角七號, 保持通話, 忍，赤壁等等, 基本上每一套都係咁, 仲要屋其兩部機都係咁先死.

In my case, looping only happens when EVR is used. VMR9 and Overlay have 爆透明格 problem only.

剛剛試完由9.2換番做8.11.....結果係..的確係冇咗LOOPING嘅情況,但係原本出現LOOPING嘅地方會黑咗畫面一陣,聲係一直去緊,但過一陣佢係可以自行回復番正常畫面
後來出番DESKTOP發現有幾次驅動程式出問題但自行回復番嘅報告喺右下角

你地平時係睇幾耐會有looping?? 定係唔關睇幾耐事, 總知一遇到某d廣告先會loop死?? 因為我今朝85台由8am開到7pm點都未見looping.....但以前試過夜晚睇2個鐘就loop, 又會唔會係夜晚多人睇d所以容易有事呢
