原本覺得Lenovo X200重，
買部eeePC 900嚟做spare機，
返學(Post grad)拎返去備用，
點知今日發現舊電爆咗殼！
問老婆點會咁，
佢最初唔認！隔咗一陣先嚟自首！
話上星期唔小心整跌！
頂丫！佢直認都冇咁嬲！
買過舊原裝電都唔知仲有冇，
有都可能好貴，唔值得，
3rd party我又唔想用！
請問有冇啲Notebook / netbook係咁細同輕？

係爆咗eeePC 900 粒電(白色5800mAh)，
漢科賣成千蚊，佢話可以拎去整，不過收$300 checking + 另外唔知幾錢嘅收費，
所以好唔值。

Other than third party battery (around HKD 100- 200) at Taobao, still may have chance to buy original battery..
1) Visit Hornington crazy sales, around Nov/Dec every year, depends on luck.. I had seen EEEPC 900 battery on sales in 2010 which costed around HKD 90. My colleague brought 2 units.
2) Visit hkccfexpo next year.. I brought 2 units of 6 cells battery (ORIGINAL Acer battery) for my Acer Aspire in one booth of hkccfexpo 2012(i.e. this year), each one costed HKD20. ( i.e. HKD40 for 2 batteries, much much cheaper than even Taobao or even 2nd hand battery .. ) Both batteries were tested to be and is still working in excellent condition.. Same booth sold original EEEPC 900/901 etc. battery for HKD20 as well ..
hkccfexpo is always a place to 清倉底貨..., sometimes with an unbelievable price if the item is useful to you, it depends if you can find it out..

Outdated item but useful to me..
I never expect to buy the latest equipment at hkccfexpo as the prices were always not attractive..

A2>No warranty (Of course I did not even ask, just HKD20 for each ma!), no packing as well.. The booth staff 當然指定動作 "claimed" the batteries were 100% new.. Quite a coincidence I brought my netbook with me at the same time and I could test the functionality before I paid.. Even though they were 2nd hand in actual, what can you criticize if they can work in good condition for only HKD20 each?

A3>It was a booth (普普通通裝璜) without even showing the store name.. See the photo at my previous post (#9).. booth was located near to the perimeter of the expo site ( lower rent ma !).. Anyway, even the same booth comes next year it is unlikely to be located at the same position or sell the same crazy priced battery again..I never found such in the past expo( s) as well.. Every year I will scan through all the booths(especially small booth looking cheap cheap) to 尋寶 or 搵倉底貨 (whatever you like to call) .. From my experience, 寶藏 or 倉底貨 can possibly turn up at any booth EXCEPT the booths facing the entry/exit ..
hkccfexpo is a really really a golden chance to 清倉底貨 or 搵倉底貨...
Another remarkable experience was buying an outdated ASUS router (quite a 倉底貨) with REPEATER function that I could not find same function provided by the main stream routers available at the market by that time..

They are 6 cells batteries .. more than 4 hours' operation time.. already substituted the original 3 cells battery that bundled with the netbook..
No need to scare.. being used everyday and so far so good..
From the outlook, cannot find anything that differentiate from an original battery. Same stickers of recycle label, same quality of printing on the label, same plastic material for the casing etc. The 2 batteries are having same type bar-code sticker but with DIFFERENT serial number printed. Could not find any sign that the casing had been opened before. The junctions are still well protected by the recycle stickers and serial number bar code sticker. Both batteries can be well fitted to the netbook very smoothly whereas many non-original batteries at Taobao have fitting problem.
Anyway, the same booth staff gave me a few non-original 9 cells batteries to try and yet they all could be charged with my netbook.
battery needed to be normally used regularly.. Otherwise, it will malfunction after you store for too long time..

佢話係，我諗其實係二手都算，
點知bid咗之後，佢話唔係嗰個價，要加多幾十，
我諗住搞咗咁耐，是旦唔想再搵，算啦照俾。
點知今日嚟到，俾咗粒901嘅電我，
仲要屈我話我係要嗰個model，
睇真啲粒電原來有層油油過，實白色而唔係本身珍珠白。
好彩我買家留言度講明要原裝、電壓、容量同model no.等，
唔係俾佢老屈。
跟手移開張貼紙，中間開咗口，原裝電點會咁？
佢梗係搵啲死電換芯，再噴返油拎出嚟賣！
