is it really difficult and arroused problems for installing XP on to a linux 701 that i need to know of? anything hard/difficult?

i think all you need to have is an external dvd rom~
and it is very similar to install a windows in desktop~ no worries!
btw, linux image is built in the dvd of eeepc, you can always reload the image if u encounter any problem

ugh... i dont hav an external DVD rom =.="" so that means im stuck to using linux?
how far off/different is the using of XP compared to Linux/?

em... if you have an internal dvd rom, you can try to find some USB-to-IDE adapter~

USB-to-IDE adapter~ 起深水步有得賣， 行多幾間問，30-50蚊，或者 sata - usb adapter 都係貴少少

裝 XP ，用你destop 部 cd-rom 拆出黎，加usb - ide 已經好夠
